Craft's and How-To's 3/22

Today on Craft's and How-To's We (Skylar & Autumn) are going to show you how to make School supplies. The two Crafts today are a book and a folder. Both of these are made very similer. Follow these steps for both Crafts untill it it splits off.

 

For both Crafts you will need:

Cardboard

Sissars

Duck Tape

Masuring Tape

 



 

Next Cut a rectangle 1 1/2" by 4"

 

 

Cover in Duck Tape

 

Next take a bunch of short strips of Duck Tape and make a strip all the way around your cover. Leave a short strip hanging of the end.

 

 

Now follow the instructions for each seperate craft.

 

Book

To finish the Book, cut a bunch of papers a little smaller then your book.

 

 

Tape in.

 

Finish it of with a "Buckle" Made out of Duck Tape.

 

 Here is what it will look like with your doll.

 

Folder

For the folder cut a strip of Duck Tape a little over 4'' long.

 

 

Fold the strip in half, leaving a 1/4" open.

 

And stick to the cover. Like This.

 

 

 

 Fill with paper and your done!!

Howdy! Matt here with the Farming Report! It is getting close to planting time and in anticipation of planting we are going to look at Random plant facts today! :)

 

 

 

Here are some fun facts about random plants!

 

 

*Do you know that an average strawberry has about 200 seeds. And it is the only fruit that bears its seeds on the outside.

 

*Cabbage has 91% water.

 

*Apple is 25% air, that is why it floats on water.

 

*Apple,Onions & potatoes have same taste, don’t believe it.Here is the test: Pinch your nose & taste all 3 ,find any difference?

 

*Carrots were originally purple in color.

 

*When an insect touches the hairs of a Venus Fly Trap it triggers the plant to close, trapping its victim before killing and dissolving it in acid.

 

*Elephant grass in Africa is named after elephants as it is about 4.5 meter high and even elephants can hide in this grass .

 

*The Baobab tree in Africa is an amazing plant.It is known for its water storage capacity in it trunk.It can store 1,000 liters to 120,000 liters of water in its swollen trunk.

 

*The first diesel engine ran on peanut oil.

Weekly News 3/18 Update

Ok so this is Ruthie again. So I have some........... bad.......news. So you know how I have been promicing you all some videos of your dancing? Well our lead dancer (Mellisa) fell and broke her leg. ( I really think someone is out to get us..... ) So she can't dance. :( And that means we can't make the video. :( The good news is that the director came up with this new movie idea, and sence most of use have acted before it was no problem.

Weekly News 3/18

Hello everyone. Ruthie here with the Weekly News! Things have been going good since the election. I think " will make a good President!  The Community Center is all built again. :) But something has been bothering me. How did the fire start? The fire department has ruled out a spark. So that would mean the Someone started the fire! Now Who would do that?! I don't know about you but I want to fined out more about this.

 

 

 

*Breaking News!!*

Hello Everyone! I was just over at the old Community Center (they built the new one just a little to the right of the old lot.) And I am now very sure that someone started the fire. Because guess what I found in the bushes behind the lot! A box of matches! Now of coarse someone could have been camping and left them, (but there is no campfire) or just dropped them while walking past. (that don't sound so logical) I am going to go hunt for more clues. So for the second time today I have went to the old Community Center site. I really think someone is out to get Dollville. I am going to ask Josie for help. What do you think happened to the Community Center? Comment Below. :)
