Fun Day 7/12

HI! Today we go back to the F.R.I.E.N.D.S series! AND we get to start a new story! TODAY part 1 of...................
"Kaya and The Missing Horse Mystory"

Kaya Royer sat quietly on the dresser listening to Shantel talk on the phone. She needed some excitement. All of her friends were going on trips. Just then she heard Shantel say,
“I would love to keep Mocha while you are gone on the cruise. How in the world could we convince our parents to let me keep your toy horse?” Kaya’s eyebrows rose when she realized that her best friend Rebecca was going on a trip to.
"OK, that should work.” Shantel said “I’ll ask. Bye.” She hung up the phone and hurried out of the room. Kaya was about to climb done from the dresser when Shantel came running back into the room, picked her up and ran back out.
"We’re going to play house! Won’t that be fun?”
"No,” thought Kaya. “You’ll probably dress me up like a boy and make me marry Savannah and that does NOT sound fun!”
Several days later Shantel came home with Mocha tucked under her arm. She tossed the horse into her closet alongside Steps High her horse and closed the door.
That night after Shantel was asleep Kaya slipped off the dresser and went over to the closet. She carefully slid open the door and took Mocha and Steps High by their harnesses and stepped out into the room. Mocha nickered. Shantel stirred and rolled over. Kaya froze. After a minute or so, though it felt like forever, Kaya continued across the room and out the door. The horses pranced gaily, ready to be free. Kaya slowly opened the door that lead outside and lead the horses out. She took off their saddles and bridles and let them run. The horses took off across the yard jumping, prancing and tossing their heads. After Kaya had let them run a bit, and was tired of watching the stars, she whistled for them to come. Saddles and bridles in place again, she climbed onto Steps High’s back and rode to the house with Mocha following. Kaya put the horses into the closet and shut the door, climbed up onto the dresser, closed her eyes and went to sleep.
The next morning Kaya woke up early. The birds were singing and the sun was just coming up. She climbed off the dresser and went over to the closet. The door was just slightly open.
"That’s strange” said Kaya “I thought I shut that last night!”
She looked in. She gasped. The Horses where gone!

What do you think happened to them? Find out next week!

*It require only 90 to 100 days from planting to maturity.

*Wild sunflower is highly branched with small heads and small seeds, in contrast to the single-stem and large seed head of domesticated sunflower.

*A well-known sunflower characteristic is that the flowering heads track the sun's movement, a phenomenon known as heliotropism.

Ask Abbie 3/12

Dear Abbie,
I Love to sing, but my whole faily gets annoyed because I do it so often. What should I do?
A Worried Nightingale

Even the most beautiful song is nothing but noise if it sung at the wrong time. Singing in the shower is O.K. but singing when someone is talking on the phone is not. So stick to singiing when your by yourself. Also, why not join a school or church singing group? You'll be able to flock with other songbirds who'll want you to sing your heart out! From the American girl magizine

Do you have a question for Abbie? Ask below or on the Ask Abbie Page!

Verse of the Week 1/12

Psalm 15

1 LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.
5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
