Howdy! Today's Fun fact is on SUNFLOWERS!

*The scientific name of sunflowers is Helianthus, Helia for sun and Anthus for flower.

 

*Sunflowers are one of the fastest growing plants. They can grow 8 to 12 feet tall in rich soil within six months.

 

*It require only 90 to 100 days from planting to maturity.

 

*Wild sunflower is highly branched with small heads and small seeds, in contrast to the single-stem and large seed head of domesticated sunflower.

 

*A well-known sunflower characteristic is that the flowering heads track the sun's movement, a phenomenon known as heliotropism.

 

*Sunflowers follow the sun even when it is cloudy.

 

*One sunflower can have up to 2000 seeds.

Even the most beautiful song is nothing but noise if it sung at the wrong time. Singing in the shower is O.K. but singing when someone is talking on the phone is not. So stick to singiing when your by yourself. Also, why not join a school or church singing group? Weekly News 2/12

Hello! I hope everyone had a GREAT weekend! School has slowed down a little bit so I guess its time to post again! The next place on mine and Josie's trip was to a music camp.

 

 

We learned lots of cool things and Josie played a song on a GIANT piano! Check it out!

I Hope everyone has a great day today!!!! Give thanks for everything! So starting Sunday I will be back! And I know what you are thinking.. "Layla... You will just let us down again. You always do." Well I have the posts scheduled so I KNOW they will be up. Also I will explain this again. I am doing TWO years of school in ONE year and am going to graduate THIS year. Therefor, I AM VERY BUSY!

Here is my schedule...
Get up at 7:00
Go to school by 8:30
School 8:30-3:00
Do homework 3:30-6:00/9:00
Help mom take care of my four siblings and clean house any spare time.
Go to bed 9:30/10:00

So you see I am busy. I will try y hardest to keep posts up but posting EVERY day is a tall order because I have to take pictures and write stories also. However, I AM thankful for everyone that reads my blog and I am sorry if I have let you down. Keep looking up!

Updates!

Ok, I have decided to try really hard and work on this blog again. I didn't realize how much work was put into a blog but I thing I am going to do it again. If all goes as planed I will resume post on the 4th of Nov. That is this Monday. I really miss you guys and think about you all the time! Just so you know I am at my grandparents for their 50th anniversary. And am with all my cozens its a lot of fun!

Just to get some ideas into my brain would you like to have some hair style tips? :)
